char siew rice rolls, revisited

char siew, pan-fried leeks wrapped in rice paper

This is my second attempt at char siew rice rolls – a personal invention. Usually one would put some rice noodles to add to the filling, but I had none. So I just rolled up some of the rice paper and used that in place of rice noodles. Added some char siew slices, pan-fried leeks and a drizzle of char siew sauce.
